Hey - I’m Rachel Ross - I’m a storyteller, seeker of truth, passionate empath and yes, I’m beyond stoked that my full name nod’s to one of the greatest love stories/television series of all time. It’s probably my most favourite thing about me.
I live for content that is bold and challenging - whilst also making room for joy and playful connectivity.
I draw most of my storytelling from personal experiences; tapping into authenticity, fragility and relatable droll.
For me, it's all about light and shade - vulnerable grit meets wit.
Selected for the 2017 Melbourne Accelerator Lab.
Recipient of the 2017 New Zealand Film Commission’s Talent Development Grant. This $10k screenwriting grant covered 8 weeks at the New York Film Academy - finishing with a 120 page feature screenplay.
Currently: a web-series in post production, a short film pending festival distribution and another short and feature film in development.
